Kevlar cloth are made similar to fiberglass with the main difference being that instead of glass filaments they are Kevlar or aramid filaments. Aramid is technically the real name of the yarn while the common name of Kevlar is actually a trademark name for DuPont’s aramids. Kevlar cloth is sold the same way and listed in the same weight, width, or style types as fiberglass cloth. With Kevlar cloth you will gain the best puncture and abrasion resistance of all the cloths available.

The most known style of Kevlar comes in a 4 harness satin weave. Kevlar comes in a woven, stitched, or felt like variety.
